7 riders (Ross G, Ross O, Linda,Luke, Christine, Lawrie & Ken M) rode the part climb up Mt Macedon Road to Straws Lane in overcast conditions and all riders chose the short option.

Ross G had a moment coming down Straws Lane after hitting a bump on the sharp left hand bend which caused the head stem to shift, fortunately no damage to rider or machine. The ride was completed before the weather started to warm up as most of the ride was under light cloud and as the wind was from the North the ride was quick once everyone turned on to the 3 Chain Road and headed back towards Woodend.
