Sunday Social Ride – Woodend – 8th March 2015

15 members assembled on a cool foggy morning in Woodend to tackle the lower slopes of Mt Macedon Road to Straws Lane.

By the time riders were climbing the Mount below Braemar College the sun had started to shine through the fog and the rest of the ride was in great conditions with virtually no breeze. Everyone managed the climb very well and after a photo shoot in Straws Lane the ride continued.

2 riders elected to ride the short version skirting around Mt Macedon Road. 13 riders climbed to  Straws Lane and down to Collwells Road where 6 riders elected to ride the long route and the remaining 7 road the short route.

Coffee was enjoyed by all at the cafe in Woodend together with the mandatory a chit chat.
