Thursday Social Ride – Woodend – 28th December 2017

11 riders assembled in Woodend for today’s ride. Weather conditions were overcast, warm and very humid. We rode a ride of approx 58km riding out to Newham, Lancefield, and back over Rochford Hill & Bryces Lane. The ride was at a fast pace with the quick riders out front and the rest tucked in behind hanging on. Average speed to Lancefield was just on 30kph . One member (Davo)  complained of a cafe not open for a mid ride coffee break. However he still managed 2 coffee stops anyway.

Once back at Woodend there was the usual banter especially about multiple coffee stops on rides. Everyone enjoyed the break before heading home with all having a good ride even with the fast pace.
