24 riders assembled in Gisborne on a cloudy morning with a light wind blowing and some haze about. As the ride progressed the wind began to strengthen and became a head wind on the climb up Kerrie Valley.
5 riders rode the medium ride and the remaining 19 riders rode the longer ride. Riders on the long ride enjoyed a tail wind out to Lancefield Road then a head wind up Kerrie Valley and most of the way to Woodend followed by a tail wind back to Gisborne. Ride conditions were the same for the medium ride.
Most riders were together back at the cafe after the ride with the usual refreshments and chatter before we all headed home.
