The club is a social riding club. Social rides are held on Sunday mornings, with a choice of two ride distances, and Thursday mornings. Rail trail rides, occasional weekends away and other social rides are organised. We are currently not holding racing events.
The club also seeks to have a voice in the promotion of cycling in the region. Members have participated in and contributed to the Macedon Ranges Shire’s Walking and Cycling Strategy 2014, provided ride maps and other input to the Shire’s Ride Guide, (2014) and continues to seek ways in which the physical, political and social environment for cycling in the region can be improved. The club recently donated two bike racks to the community – one has been placed near the Cross on Mount Macedon, and the other soon to be located in Piper Street Kyneton.
General meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm in Kyneton. All new members are encouraged to attend these meetings, to meet the committee and other members. The Annual General Meeting for the election of office bearers is held at our November meeting.
