Welcome to Macedon Ranges Cycling Club.
We are a friendly and welcoming cycling club located in the beautiful Macedon Ranges. We organise group rides on Sunday and Thursday mornings.
The starting point for our Sunday rides alternates between Kyneton, Woodend and Gisborne. Sunday ride options include a shorter ride of around 40 km at an average speed in the low 20’s kmh, and a longer ride of around 60 km at an average speed of around 25+ kmh.
Thursday rides start from Woodend each week and are around 50 km in distance at an average speed in the low to mid 20’s kmh.
Our most famous member – Lauretta Hanson. Lauretta doesn’t ride with us a great deal as she is an elite rider on the UCI Women’s World Tour riding as a domestique for Team Trek Segafredo and is usually riding overseas mainly in Europe where she is based. Lauretta has nominated us as her cycling club for many years now and is an exemplary ambassador both for us and women’s cycling in general.
