Ride News

Hi all,

10 riders braved zero degrees for a 9.00am start on Sunday 23rd at Woodend. Once we got underway and out into the open country the weather improved because we were now riding in sunshine and the temperature seemed to increase . Both routes were changed from the advertised route because of bridge works on 3 Chain Road, 6 riders rode the shorter 43km course . The other 4 riders with 3 bicycles ( 1 tandem) rode the longer course and everyone was quite happy to warm up with a coffee afterwards.

It has also been proposed that we conduct a ride from Tallarook on the 14th July at 9.30am riding along the new rail trail to Yea. This ride will be dependent upon suitable weather conditions and further details will be provided closer to the date of the event. The route is suitable for road bikes so every one can ride.
