Sunday Club Ride – Woodend – 21st June 2020

16 members arrived in Woodend this morning for today’s ride. It was good to see members riding again after the lifting of Covid-19 restrictions.  Weather conditions were cold with a light north wind and foggy conditions. One other member was spotted riding to Woodend for the ride but unfortunately did not catch up with the others until the cafe stop.

4 riders rode the short ride, 9 rode the medium ride and the remaining 3 rode the long ride.  By the time riders crossed the freeway out of Woodend the sky had begun to lift and we then enjoyed some sunny patches and no sign of any rain. One of our members was riding Ashbourne Road for the first time and acquitted himself well on the hills back.

Following the ride members were together at the cafe for the usual chatter and refreshments before heading home.
