Thursday Ride – Woodend – 17th May 2018

4 riders arrived in Woodend for today’s ride on a cold and windy morning. We rode our usual 53km loop out to Newham via Bryces Lane, Chases Lane and Clancys Lane back to Woodend. One of our riders who was recovering from a cold decided to ride short loops near Woodend in case the weather started raining. We commenced the ride with some low misty cloud but we soon rode away from that and had no more for the remainder of the ride. We also enjoyed a tail wind for the first half of the ride and due to the direction of the wind the ride back to Woodend was reasonable.

Once back in Woodend it was into the warmth of the cafe before we headed home.
