Our club promotes participation in a range of rides throughout the year. The BAD ride (Ballarat Autumn Day ride) is a favourite. It is inexpensive, relatively accessible, and the two ride options commence at an agreeable start time. Our normal Sunday rides will still be run.
The BAD ride 2017 will be on Sunday, 7th May, 2017 with a start time of between 9 and 9.30 am. The start/finish location is the Pleasant Street Primary School, Corner of Pleasant Street and Wendouree Parade, Ballarat.
The Ballarat Bushwalking Club have been running these rides for 28 years. This year the funds raised by the ride are to support the Ballarat Hospice Care.

Bad Ride 2016 – into the wind and sleet.
There are 50 km and 100 km rides to choose from – neither of which are particularly hilly.
Entry is not expensive at $40 ($30 for early entry till 27th April) per head plus a lunch option of $10. Concession is $30 ($20 early fee).
