Thursday Ride – Woodend – 15th November 2018

7 riders assembled in Woodend this morning for today’s ride. Weather conditions were sunny skies and a strong and very cold South Easterly wind. Conditions remained the same for the entire ride which made for a difficult return to Woodend into the head wind.

We rode our normal 53km loop out to Newham via Bryces Lane, then Chases Lane and return at Batters Lane. The early part of the ride was with the tail wind and good speed was encountered until Batters Lane and the inevitable head wind back.

Once back at the cafe it was inside to get out of the wind. The usual refreshments and chatter was enjoyed before we all headed home.
