Sunday Club Ride – Gisborne – 5th July 2020

20 members arrived in Gisborne this morning for today’s ride. Weather conditions were cold with low cloud around. Once we commenced the rides the skies began to clear and sunny conditions were present for most of the rides.

4 riders rode the medium ride and the remaining 16 rode the long ride. The long ride soon split into multiple groups depending on the speed of the riders. The long ride was fast early as it was mainly downhill until the Kerrie Valley climb. Once over the top of the climb the remainder of the ride was either flat or downhill with only a small section of uphill on the way back to Gisborne. As the long ride was finishing the cloud and some misty rain began to fall.

Back at the cafe it was the usual chatter and refreshments before heading home.
