Sunday Club Ride – Gisborne – 26th July 2020

25 members arrived in Gisborne this morning for today’s ride. The weather was cold, foggy with a light southerly breeze. The sun began to shine through the fog and at various points on both rides and the conditions then warmed up.

13 riders rode the medium ride and 12 rode the longer ride. Riders on both rides modified the circuits by either adding in an additional segment for some extra distance or cutting short the ride to get back to the cafe earlier. Both rides also split into smaller groups with the faster riders in the front group followed by the slower riders. Most of our rides have opportunities to vary the distance when required.

Most riders were together at the cafe with the last of the riders getting back before the majority had left. The usual refreshments and chatter were enjoyed before we all headed home.
