Thursday Club Ride – Woodend – 25th June 2020

9 members arrived in Woodend this morning for today,s ride. Weather conditions were cold, cloudy and damp roads with a strengthening North Westerly wind blowing. We also had a first time rider with us this morning. The weather improved during the ride with  occasional patches of sunshine.

We rode our usual 53km loop out to Newham via Bryces Lane, 3 Chain Road, Chases Lane and turning for the ride back to Woodend at Batters Lane. With the north westerly the sections directly into the wind were a challenge however we all enjoyed the tail wind from Batters Lane and the ride back was much easier.

Back at the cafe it was the usual chatter and refreshments before heading home.
