Sunday Club Ride – Gisborne – 9th February 2020

28 members arrived in Gisborne this morning for today’s ride. Weather conditions were cloudy and clearing by the time the ride began. Once the skies cleared the day warmed up and finished being a good morning for a ride. We also had 2 first time riders with us.

19 riders rode the medium ride with some members modifying the ride by adding on the loop to McBean Ave and return. The remaining 9 rode the longer ride with one rider shortening the ride by not climbing Governor’s Road. Due to the wind conditions all rides were ridden at a good pace with a head wind early followed by a tail wind for the ride back to Gisborne.

Back at the cafe all riders were together enjoying the usual chatter and refreshments before heading home.
